Fantasy Sports Coalition Network Update

Hello fellow GM’s ,Fantasy Sports Coalition would like to announce that after careful consideration we have asked Moorestown Big Dogs to join the FSC board as VP of Hockey. MBD has accepted the position and going forward will be over everything Hockey at FSC. We chose Moorestown because we feel he is very focused on fantasy and has great foresight into the leagues by the way he breaks down drafts and analyzes league stats. Most of all we feel that he will be very objective and fair in all aspects of the rules. Please give him your support and understanding as he gets acclimated to this new position.

In a corresponding move Edmonton Crunch will take on the position of VP of Recruiting and Network Advancement. Crunch has recently found himself needing to focus a little more on life and therfore felt it would be better to allow another person the opportunity to run the hockey side of the network.Crunch has always been eager to help out with whatever is asked of him and he does many things that are never seen or mentioned but are extremely vital to the network. He will be doing what he does best and that is finding GM’s to fill available teams and any other tasks that will help us balance the many leagues that we run here at FSC.

This will once again give us a 5 person board to balance out the daily issues and tasks that we perform. Please give both of these guys your support as they give their time to help keep FSC moving forward.

I would also like to thank Frost Giant for his time as contract hockey commissioner and wish he was not stepping away from FSC but we wish him all the best and you know that you are always welcome here. Hockey contract has the busiest sheet processing of our four contract leagues and it was no small feat keeping it up to date. Thanks Frost and those that pitched in to help him.

Lastly I think I speak for Easy Freese when i say that Lannister Lions is a cornerstone in this network. No one sees how many times that he steps up and helps out when things are in the weeds like making the Hockey draft and resigns happen without a hitch. You are so important to FSC and we do appreciate all you hard work and effort.

And to all the GM’s that have been with us since AML and those that are new we thank you for your continued dedication to these leagues by stepping up and keeping teams filled when we are short on GM’s.But most impressive is how often we look and see the percentage of active GM’s that we have. I am in a lot of leagues but none are active with 16 and 20 team leagues like those here at FSC. For Easy Freese and myself i want to say thank you to all who have kept this little family together for over 10 years. You are not only great fantasy Gm’s,you are great people and we hope that there will be many more years of fantasy at FSC.

  1. Only been in one year but on many teams in Hockey and Baseball… I’ve been in fantasy sports since the times of sandbox (1998-1999) era… These leagues are well run and that’s no easy task keeping so many managers happy and active… ChicagoMachine
